Why is my furnace blowing cold air?
Cold air from a running furnace usually means the burners aren't lighting, or they're shutting down early. Most often it's a dirty flame sensor, a failed ignitor, a blocked condensate drain, or a thermostat left on Fan instead of Auto.

Should I repair or replace my furnace?
Two things settle it: how old the furnace is, and what a combustion safety check finds at the heat exchanger. Under 15 with an intact exchanger, repair usually wins. A cracked heat exchanger is never repaired, so at that age the replacement is the whole unit.
